Michel Ortega Paunero

Michel Ortega Paunero has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michel began their career as the Director of Finances at Katerin Congresos, S.A., where they worked from November 1991 to March 1998. Michel then joined Leroy Merlin as a Controller, holding the position from June 1998 to March 2003. Following this, they joined Conforama España as a Director, initially assigned to the store in Palma de Mallorca, and later transferred to the store in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid. During their time at Conforama España, they successfully managed various responsibilities including commercial management, expense control, budgeting, personnel management, and labor relations. After serving as a Director for 17 years, they joined Conforama Ibérica in 2020 as the Director of DMU Norte y Logística Web.

Michel Ortega Paunero earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Escuela Europea de Negocios from 1990 to 1991. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1990, they completed their Licenciatura en Ciencias Empresariales (Bachelor's degree in Business Sciences) at Universidad de Valladolid, specializing in Banca y bolsa (Banking and Stock Exchange).
