Brian King

Brian King has a strong background in the field of life sciences and laboratory work. Brian started their career at LabCorp as a Laboratory Technician, where they tested clinical human samples for infectious diseases and consistently maintained a low error rate. Brian then joined Duke University as a Research Technician II, where they gained expertise in using cutting-edge lab instruments and trained colleagues on their usage. At BD, Brian served as a Research Associate and was responsible for establishing a next-generation sequencing lab that exceeded industry standards. Brian managed day-to-day lab operations and set a new world record for data output from a single run. Brian later joined Expression Analysis as a Laboratory Associate II for a short period before moving on to Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Field Application Scientist. Currently, they are working at Congenica as a Senior Field Applications Scientist.

Brian King attended North Carolina State University from 2001 to 2005, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences.
