Chad Shirley

Chad Shirley is currently the Deputy Assistant Director at the Congressional Budget Office, where Chad manages the Microeconomic Studies Division. Chad has extensive experience in economic research, analysis, and expert testimony related to various industries and policy areas. Prior to their current position, Chad has worked at Cornerstone Research, Econ One Research, and the RAND Corporation in different roles focusing on economic and financial analysis. Chad holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an A.B. in Economics from Stanford University.
