Barbara Curran

Barbara Curran is the current Chief People Officer at Connectbase. Barbara has held this position since June of 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief People Officer at CDP from December 2019 to June 2022.

At CDP, Barbara managed a team of six professionals in HR, IT, and Knowledge Management/Training. Barbara also doubled diversity among staff over two years by adjusting recruitment to identify and engage with underrepresented talent more strongly – encompassing both visible and nonvisible elements of diversity. In addition, they drove hiring for 50+ team members, including Executive & Leadership roles, utilizing in-house efforts.

During their time at CDP, Barbara devised, launched, and ensured continual adoption of numerous strategic initiatives including HRIS/People Analytics enterprise implementation; New Hire Onboarding; Annual/Mid-year Performance Review Process; Manager Training Series; Skills-based Career Pathing; Pay Equity; Launch of Remote workforce; Covid Protocol Definition and Oversight; Organizational Redesign(s); Best-Practice Security Training; Company-wide Quality Initiative; etc.

Barbara Curran has a MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from Boston College Carroll School of Management and a BSBA in Marketing and Social Psychology from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.
