Adenike Thompson

Nike is the Director, Engineering at ConnectGen. She manages the development and design of battery storage, wind, and solar projects at ConnectGen.

Prior to joining ConnectGen, Nike worked for Mott MacDonald as a senior specialist in the power team and worked on renewable energy projects internationally from the early pre-feasibility stages all the way to the operational stages. She managed several engineering design projects (wind, solar, and battery storage), interconnection projects, desktop feasibility studies, pre-financial and acquisition due diligence studies (including construction monitoring and operations monitoring) and was responsible for leading efforts on the wind resource and energy yield assessment of wind farms, wind farm layout optimization, and shadow flicker and noise assessments.
