Purpose

The Programmatic Media Buyer is an entry-level position who will ultimately be responsible for supporting the day to day  management and optimization of programmatic media buys, as determined by the Programmatic Supervisor, leading the team.  They will learn how to optimize and analyze campaigns for multiple accounts, as well as evolving into learning deeper programmatic strategy and data accuracy for the purposes of reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment and rapidly-growing field of programmatic media.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support planning campaigns across all platforms, including but not limited to account setup, account/campaign structure, budget and bidding strategy, targeting, creative development, audience development, and keyword list building

  • Learn the execution and management of campaigns across all platforms on a daily basis, including monitoring, tracking, QA and maintaining detailed optimization logs

  • Analyzing data on a daily basis to perform ongoing optimizations to copy/creative, landing pages, and bids.

  • Pull all data to help support the team’s  bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting

  • Partnering with internal teams to learn client marketing goals, overall media strategy and analytics

  • Gather data to support Programmatic  Supervisor in identifying and suggesting new vendors, technologies or tactics that can help deliver or exceed client goals and grow CP’s internal programmatic trading capabilities.

  • Maintain contracts, billing and manage invoice processes for programmatic buys.

  • Work closely with peers across media planning, analytics, brand and billing teams to ensure integration of programmatic buys within larger media programs.

  • Manage QA processes for the implementation of programmatic media buys

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience working within platform experience, DSP experience preferred

  • Experience in delivering initiatives on-time with ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced setting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Demonstrable ability to take ownership and accountability

  • Flexible, team-oriented collaborator

  • Knowledge of Google Data Studio, Google Sheets/Excel a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
