Kate Johnson

Kate Johnson is a Senior Software Engineer on the Accounts team for MetaMask at Consensys since October 2023, with previous experience as a Blockchain Software Engineer at Popcorn, where Kate developed trading algorithms and performed data analysis using Python. Earlier roles include Software Engineer at LAVNCH, where Kate focused on web and app development, and various internships in software engineering and communications, including contributions to Defenders of Wildlife and Orange County Sustainability. Kate holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, a Master of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The Graduate School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
