Emma Straughan

Senior Project Officer - EPIC at Conservation Volunteers

Emma Straughan is an experienced professional currently serving as a Let's Talk Project Facilitator at The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) since June 2018. Prior to this role, Emma has held multiple positions, including Senior Project Officer - EPIC at The Conservation Volunteers since January 2016, focusing on community engagement with the Ochil Hillfoots area's natural and cultural heritage. Emma also contributed as a Project Assistant and Natural Networks Trainee with Glasgow and Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership, enhancing community green spaces. Additionally, Emma works within the Health Improvement Team at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, promoting health and social care services in the North West of Glasgow. Emma's early career included an Assistant Manager position at Greggs, as well as serving as Volunteer Liaison Officer for The Sevenlochs Volunteer Group. Emma holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Hons in Rural Resource Management from The Scottish Agricultural College.
