Scott Soward

Scott Soward has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Scott currently holds the position of VP of Software Engineering at Conservice The Utility Experts® since August 2021. Previously, they served as the Director of Software Development at Wilson Electronics from July 2019 to August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in various roles, including Software Engineer Manager and Team Lead Sr. Software Engineer / Project Manager, from July 2010 to July 2019. Scott also worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at CHG HealthCare from September 2007 to July 2010. Scott has additional experience as a Lead Engineer at CHG, Java Dev/Architecture at Tapestry, Hibernate, a Software Engineer at Meridias Capital, and a Developer/Programmer at Trakit-GPS. Scott began their career as an Intern Java/Test dev at the Corporation of the President and also gained web development experience at Blue Coat.

Scott Soward attended the University of Utah from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In addition, they also earned an Associates degree from the University of Utah during the same period, with a dual major in Computer Science and English. Prior to their time at the University of Utah, Scott Soward attended UVSC from 1997 to 1999, where they earned an Associate degree in English.
