George Mensah

George Mensah has extensive experience in the field of technology and information management. George is currently serving as the Director of Technology at Consolidated Bank Ghana since 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Group Chief Information Officer at Fidelity Bank Ghana from 2016 to 2022. In this role, they provided strategic vision and operational IT leadership for the bank, ensuring the delivery of fit-for-purpose IT services and data insights for customer experience.

Before joining Fidelity Bank Ghana, they served as the Regional Chief Information Officer at Standard Bank Group from 2013 to 2016. George also worked as the Chief Information Officer at Stanbic Bank Uganda from 2012 to 2013 and as the Head of Information Technology at Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Manager Technology and Support Services at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana from 1991 to 2006.

George Mensah obtained a degree in Computer Science and Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Science and Technology Kumasi and the University of Ghana Business School, respectively. George is also a member of the Institute of Directors Ghana, where they gained expertise in Corporate Governance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurial Management.
