Alfredo Garcia Batista

Alfredo Garcia Batista is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in power transmission and distribution management. Currently serving as Gerente de Despacho Transmision & Subestaciones at Consorcio Energético Punta Cana Macao (CEPM) since March 2005, Alfredo oversees asset management for substations and power transmission lines, along with electric power dispatch management. Previously, Alfredo held positions such as Sub Gerente de Gestion de Redes & Despacho de Potencia, where Alfredo founded the CEPM Energy Dispatch and Control Center, and Superintendente de Distribucion, focusing on maintenance for electrical infrastructure under 12.5 kV. Prior experience includes operating electrical power systems at Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (EDEESTE) and coordinating electrical maintenance at Industrias Nacionales. Alfredo holds a Master's degree in Project Management from Universidad Americana de Europa and an Ingeniero Electicista degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, along with additional engineering diplomas from Fundación Oscus San Valero and Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo.
