Monet M. has a diverse range of work experiences. They have been a Charles Blaschke Education Technology Policy Fellow at the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) since 2023. Monet's earlier experiences include roles as a Production Intern at ClassPass, a Social Media Manager for PIU PIU Film by Naima Ramos-Chapman, and an Intern at Oath, where they contributed to social media campaigns and marketing strategies. They also served as a Peer Mentor at Reel Works, teaching filmmaking to high school students and participating in a narrative filmmaking lab program.

Monet M. completed their high school education at Brooklyn Friends School from 2014 to 2017, earning a High School Diploma. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Scripps College from 2017 to 2021. Currently, Monet is furthering their education at New York University, pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from 2022 to 2024.
