Andre Comparini

Andre Comparini joined CSC in November of 2017 as Tax Director. In addition to managing the company’s various tax compliance requirements across the country and internationally, he is responsible for strategic tax planning, tax expense management, and tax provision reporting. Andre was an integral part of the team responsible for the execution of the company’s recent Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) transaction and he continues to manage the plan and its post-transaction needs.

Prior to joining the CSC team, Andre was a Federal Tax Manager in the Los Angeles branch of a top 10 national accounting firm, serving middle-market clients in varied industries. In this role, he was responsible for directly interfacing with his clients to meet their needs while developing his team members’ tax and accounting skills. He also has experience performing financial statement audits of multi-national publicly traded corporations and private equity firms through his experience at a Big Four accounting firm.

Over his career, Andre has received various awards from multiple employers for recognition of his leadership and contributions to his teams and clients. He has always sought to improve those around him and has led technical seminars and training at every company he has worked for. In his last role as Federal Tax Manager, Andre was the firmwide lead instructor for new hires and interns, responsible for the onboarding and training of over 150 staff accountants per year. He has continued this habit of teaching others through his concurrent role as an adjunct professor of accounting at The Master’s University, whose accounting program has recently led the state in CPA exam pass rates.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Master’s University with a B.S. in Accountancy and a triple emphasis in Accounting, Finance, and Management where he was formally recognized as “Top Finance Student” in the business department. He earned his California CPA license in 2013.
