Paul Erickson began his CSC career as Chief Financial Officer in 2015. Prior to CSC, Paul served as the EVP and CFO at Great American Group where he played a key role in the company’s growth for 17 years from a small company to a global corporation with $300+ million in transaction revenues.
During this time, Paul’s leadership in fostering strong team environments, improving collaboration and cooperation across divisions, and developing strategies for growth all played a role in the company’s evolution. Paul also directed the company’s six core divisions and provided leadership for 110+ employees, ushering in dramatic and successful changes. Paul’s leadership influence included creating and leading the Executive Board, closing an under-producing division and outsourcing its operations, and helping launch and grow a subsidiary to $30+ million.
Financial contributions included cutting 25% in labor costs, saving $2 million on a corporate office lease, and assisted in the structuring of liquidation deals of up to $1 billion. Paul has served as a Business Advisor, Board Member, and Consultant to companies in a wide range of industries.
In CFO, EVP, GM, and Board Member roles, Paul has accurately identified and capitalized on key opportunities. He has launched a successful subsidiary, negotiated billion-dollar deals, taken a company public, and secured hundreds of millions of dollars in credit and funding. With a vigilant focus on fiscal responsibility and sustainability, Paul has slashed payroll and operational costs and renegotiated purchasing and pricing metrics.
Paul holds an MBA, as well as a BS in Finance, and he completed a comprehensive course examining best practices for corporate boards, directors, and committees.
