Rahul Shetty

Rahul Shetty has a wealth of experience in data science. Rahul began their career in 2007 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. In 2009, they moved to the Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics, Universität Heidelberg, where they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2016, they joined Adyen as a Data Scientist, where they were responsible for statistical analysis of payment data and coordinating with merchants and account managers to understand transaction data and optimize payment authorizations. In 2018, they moved to Qualogy as a Senior Data Science Consultant. In 2019, they joined Leap as a Lead Data Scientist and will be joining Context Labs BV in 2022 as a Principal Data Scientist.

Rahul Shetty received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001. Rahul then went on to earn their PhD in Astronomy from the University of Maryland in 2007. In 2014, they completed their Master's degree in Statistical Science from Cornell University.
