Toni Wang

Toni Wang is a seasoned professional in data science and quantitative analysis, currently serving as the Director and Data Scientist at Visa since July 2021, focusing on payment product analytics and machine learning engineering. In addition, Toni has contributed as a Journal Paper Reviewer for the Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence since January 2019, specializing in neural networks research. Previously, Toni held positions as VP Quantitative Analyst at Barclays, responsible for quantitative model development and validation, and as a Senior Consultant at EY, where expertise in credit risk models and regulatory engagement was demonstrated. Early career experience includes roles as an Analytical Consultant at Dun & Bradstreet, focusing on corporate lending credit risk modeling, and as a Scientist in neural networks research at Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht. Toni holds a PhD in Computational Mathematics from Cranfield University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool.
