Michael Bauer

Michael Bauer is an experienced geologist with a strong background in operations and geosteering. Since June 2014, Michael has held the position of Staff Operations Geologist at Continental Resources, previously serving as a Senior Operations Geologist. Prior to that, Michael worked at Horizon Well Logging, LLC from April 2012 to June 2014 as a Geosteering Geologist, where responsibilities included interpreting real-time drilling data to optimize wellbore placement in established payzones. Michael also worked as a Wellsite Geologist at Horizon Well Logging from September 2011 to April 2012. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Northern Kentucky University, completed from 2005 to 2010.
