Shayla Richards

Shayla Richards is an experienced educational psychologist and co-owner of Continuum North since September 2021. Shayla taught Masters-level courses at the University of Calgary from June 2022 to June 2023, focusing on academic and cognitive assessment, as well as school-based intervention and consultation. Prior roles include serving as the Territorial-based Support Team Coordinator for the Government of the Northwest Territories and a School Psychologist for School District #8 (Kootenay Lake). Shayla has also held positions as a District School Psychologist, Psychometrist/Research Coordinator, and Interventionist at various organizations. Educational credentials include a Master's of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Psychology from the University of Alberta.
