Kjelti Kellough

As Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Kjelti Kellough sits on the company’s executive team and leads Getty Images’ global Legal function. In her role, Kjelti is responsible for overseeing its worldwide legal affairs, including corporate governance, compliance, governmental relations, litigation, intellectual property and corporate matters. In addition, Kjelti is Getty Images’ Corporate Secretary. Based in Calgary, Kjelti has more than 20 years of legal experience and her contributions are an essential part of the company’s growth, as well as establishing the company’s policy and positions on key compliance and risk matters.

Working with Getty Images Legal team for the last 10 years, most recently as General Counsel, Kjelti oversaw corporate commercial matters for the Americas and served as global support for the Company’s product and marketing functions. In addition, Kjelti has been a key partner in the development and implementation of partnerships with leading brands such as Dove (Project #ShowUs), National Geographic, Refinery29 and LeanIn.

Prior to joining Getty Images in 2009, Kjelti was a corporate finance partner at TingleMerrett and an intellectual property and corporate associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon. Kjelti holds an LLB from University of Calgary and a BA from University of Alberta (Augustana Campus).
