We are the world’s first Civilian Cybersecurity Force, dedicated to defeating cyber terrorists. To do so, Conversant Group is organized into three battalions: Athena7, which provides infrastructure assessment, strategy, and remediation; Grypho5, which offers ongoing managed protection; and Fenix24, which provides rapid restoration in case of a cyberattack. Since 2009, Conversant Group has helped more than 500 customers understand their security posture, address their vulnerabilities and threats, actively defend against those threats, and restore operations following a breach (should one unfortunately occur).

About This Position: The Communications/PR Manager is responsible for brand building through internal and external communications including public relations, industry awards, and thought leadership articles and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Relations function management, including PR firm vendor management.
  • Content development for thought leadership articles, white papers, case studies, collateral.
  • Industry and conference presentations.
  • Internal and client communications.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Requirements & Preferred Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, communication or similar
  • 3+ years in similar position
  • Cybersecurity industry experience required
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong relationship building skills and leadership capabilities.
  • PowerPoint skill a plus
  • Excellent analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to form relationships across all levels of the company while modeling Conversant’s Culture and Values.
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
