Timothy Treuer serves as the Regional Innovation Officer at Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc., where responsibilities include leading efforts to position the region as a global leader in climate technology development and implementation. As the founder of Treuer Words LLC, Timothy provides writing, research, and technical assistance in the biological and environmental sciences, with a notable contract supporting America Achieves in the Tech Hubs Program. Previous academic roles include Adjunct Professor at Alaska Pacific University and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Gund Institute at UVM, following a tenure as Lecturer at Princeton University. Timothy holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University and a Bachelor's degree in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University.
