Robert Mizia

Robert (Bob) Mizia, MBA has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Robert (Bob)'smost recent position is as the Director of Information Technology Applications at Cooper University Health Care, which they started in April 2023. Prior to that, from October 2022 to April 2023, they served as the President of their own company, the Robert Mizia Group. Before starting their own company, they worked at Inspira Health Network for almost 10 years, holding the position of Director of Clinical and Ambulatory Systems from November 2012 to July 2022. From January 2008 to November 2012, they served as the CIO of Underwood Memorial Hospital. Prior to that, they worked at Allegheny Health Network for 10 years, starting as a Senior Director of Information Services in August 1998 and ending as a Senior Director of Information Services in January 2008. Robert (Bob) also worked at Allegheny Health Education Research Foundation (AHERF) as a Senior Director of Information Services from October 1994 to July 1998. Bob's early career includes roles at HUP as a Manager of Software Development from 1987 to 1994, and at Shared Medical Systems (SMS) as a Programmer Analyst from 1984 to 1987.

Bob Mizia holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Drexel University. Robert (Bob) also received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the same university. Additionally, Bob has obtained certifications such as Introduction to Scrum Master Training, Scrum Master Certification: Scaling Agile and the Team-of-Teams, and Scrum Master Certification: Scrum Methodologies from Coursera, all in the year 2023.
