Amy T.

Amy T. has extensive experience in the mental health and educational fields, serving as a School Psychologist at Cooperative Educational Services since July 2019 and previously at Las Cruces Public Schools from August 2004 to December 2007. Currently, Amy T. is a member of the NM PED IDEA Advisory Panel since August 2022. With a background as the owner and director of A Place of Healing LLC from April 2008 to December 2023, roles included Licensed Professional Counselor, Parenting Coordinator, and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy facilitator. Additional experience includes working as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at The Treehouse from February 2020 to August 2021 and in a community family team role at the Child Psychiatric Center at UNMH from October 2018 to July 2019. Amy T. holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and an Ed.S in School Psychology from New Mexico State University, completing studies in 2002 and 2005, respectively.
