Senior Software Engineer at CoPilot

Zayne Sprague has held a variety of roles in the software engineering field. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Desktop Support Intern at Montgomery High School, where they learned about diagnosing issues with personal towers, laptops, servers, and networks. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at CoPilot as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Software QA Engineer Intern. During this time, they were responsible for implementing the Machine Learning stack, priority Front-End flows, and mid-stack APIs, as well as creating and coordinating initiatives to improve the core product and significant technical enhancements. Zayne also managed small teams on high-level projects, was responsible for onboarding new hires, and maintained high-level documentation of systems and processes used throughout the company. In 2021, Zayne Sprague began working at The University of Texas at Austin as an Undergrad Research Assistant (TAUR Lab) and Student Technician (DIL). In this role, they implemented and researched various A.I. papers in Image Inpainting, Pose Estimation, and various Image Segmentation models as well as other Computer Vision related topics.

Zayne Sprague has an education history that includes attending Montgomery Highschool from 2012-2015, Lone Star College from 2015-2017, and The University of Texas at Austin from 2017-2023, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science. Additionally, Zayne has obtained four certifications from Coursera, including Machine Learning, Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning: Regression, and Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, all obtained in 2016 and 2017.
