Shaun Remekie

Shaun Remekie has worked in the IT industry since 2008. In 2011, they began working as a Senior KNOWHOW Specialist at Dixons Retail. In 2012, they became a Self-Employed IT Consultant, providing consults for a wide range of IT related scenarios and facilitating implementation of same. In 2013, they began working as an IT Operations Engineer (2nd line Support) at Cardonet. In 2014, they became a Senior Systems Engineer (Linux) at Vubiquity. In 2016, they became a Cloud Systems Engineer at Cloudreach. In 2017, they became the Head of Engineering at Nahuru. In 2019, they became the Founder, Engineer, Consultant, Gopher at Daidokoro, researching, prototyping, developing, and delivering technical solutions utilizing modern technology and innovative techniques. In 2022, they will become a Customer DevOps Engineer at Coralogix.

Shaun Remekie attended The Open University from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in BSc Open Degree - Software Development. Shaun has also obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) from CompTIA in August 2013, Novell Certified Linux Administrator (CLA) from Novelle in August 2013, Google Cloud Certified Data Engineer from Google in February 2020, Associate Cloud Engineer from Google in June 2018, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in November 2016, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in August 2016, Linux Professional Institute Certified (LPIC-1) from Linux Professional Institute in August 2013, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional from Amazon Web Services, and OpenStack Essentials from LinuxAcademy.com.
