Arezoo Mirad

Arezoo Mirad has extensive work experience in the medical and research fields. Arezoo has held positions at various companies and organizations, including Corcept Therapeutics, Alkermes, Silicon DynamiX, the University of Colorado Denver, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and ING. Arezoo'smost recent role is as a Medical Director - Clinical Development at Corcept Therapeutics, where they began in 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Medical Director Oncology - Clinical Development at Alkermes in 2022. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Medical Director Research - Clinical Development at Silicon DynamiX, where they led a team of pharmaceutical researchers in developing a peptide-based mRNA vaccine for COVID-19. Arezoo Mirad also has experience as a Chief Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Denver, where they focused on oncology research for Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer. Arezoo developed a clinical tool for evaluating prostate cancer progression and was involved in patient care. Before that, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, teaching statistics courses and leading statistics tutors. Arezoo Mirad completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Mathematics & Informatica at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2003 to 2007. Arezoo then pursued a Master's Degree in Mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they attended the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in the field of Medicine. Additionally, in May 2022, they obtained a certification titled "Having an Honest Career Conversation with Your Boss" from LinkedIn.
