We are seeking a performance-driven Copywriter who can write concise, action-inspiring marketing copy designed to drive consumers to Core Digital Media brands. You are creative, action-oriented, and comfortable writing in multiple styles across digital and social platforms. The copy you create will attract consumers looking to purchase a home, refinance a home, or gain access to personal loans, among other financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Research and write compelling ad copy that drives action across digital and social channels
  • Regularly conduct research to stay knowledgeable about competitors, industry news and trends
  • Collaborate with various teams including Product and Compliance
  • Communicate copy performance and messaging results to internal stakeholders and management
  • Write copy that consistently outperforms the latest control and achieves winning results
  • Analyze and optimize ad copy based on performance metrics

Skills

  • Highly creative and experienced in translating user insights research into engaging and motivating ad copy
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient at conveying a single idea in multiple ways across various marketing channels
  • Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Keeps up to date with new and evolving AI tools to enhance copywriting
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and make data-driven decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication, marketing or English
  • Direct response copywriting experience in digital and social marketing a plus
  • Knowledge of advertising fundamentals, including strategy and storytelling is a plus
  • Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Detail-oriented with high sense of accountability and integrity
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with other productivity applications
  • Portfolio showcasing successful direct response campaigns
