POSITION OVERVIEW
The Strategy Consultant (SC) role works as a member of Coresight’s Advisory Group, an international strategy consulting team, to identify, plan, and implement solutions for our client’s most complex and critical challenges.  This role is similar to a starting position at a top tier management consulting firm with a few distinctive differences.  First, SCs work directly with executive level clients both at the world's largest retailers, consumer brands, and tech titans as well as the fastest growing technology start-ups.  Second, SCs engage immediately in international work in all regions of the globe with a special focus on market entry.  Third, SCs focus heavily on leading edge innovation work leveraging Coresight's unparalleled innovation research – many top consulting and investment firms are Coresight clients.  The SC may be located near Coresight’s New York City headquarters or remotely within North American time zones. 

  • Structure complex problems

  • Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data

  • Apply Coresight strategic planning tools and frameworks

  • Develop and communicate clear client action steps and establish trust with clients

  • Manage project plans and organize client deliverables

  • Participate in industry events, build a network, and establish oneself as an expert in a relevant field

REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Minimum of a BA/BS with a strong academic record
  • 4+ years of client facing consulting experience with McKinsey, BCG, or Bain
  • High attention to detail while maintaining a rapid work pace
  • Robust internet research and analysis abilities
  • Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
  • Strong work ethic and high level of personal accountability
  • Solid quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
  • Proficient in office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
