Janay West has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Janay started their career in 2008 as a Sales Associate at West Point Market. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Tutor Counselor at The University of Akron - Upward Bound program, followed by a role as a Student Assistant at The University of Akron - Educational Talent Search program from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they interned at The University of Akron.
