Yongxin (Joe) Zhou

Yongxin (Joe) Zhou has extensive experience in the field of engineering. Yongxin (Joe) began their career in 1989 as a Lecturer at Hebei Normal University. In 1995, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Following this, they worked as a Software Developer at Maple Technologies in Canada in 1998. Yongxin (Joe) then moved to Compusult Limited in Canada, where they worked as a Software Developer on GIS Web Enterprise Suites project in Java, including X. 509 Public Key Certificate, and Real Time Captioning Systems in C/C++. In 2000, they joined Cloakware Corporation (now Irdeto) as a Software Engineer/Security Software Designer/Senior Mathematician. In 2007, they moved to Irdeto as a Security Software Engineer/Senior Mathematician. In 2015, they founded MathShield Technologies, where they served as an Engineer. In 2019, they began working as a Cryptography Engineer at Data Secrets and a Research Engineer at Harmony. Yongxin (Joe) is currently an Algorithm Engineer at Cornami, Inc.

Yongxin (Joe) Zhou completed their education with a PhD in Mathematics from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1999. Prior to that, they obtained an M. Sc in Mathematics from Hebei Normal University in 1989, and a B. Sc in Mathematics from the same university in 1984.
