Yi Zheng

Yi Zheng, Ph.D., is a skilled Principal User Researcher at Splunk since 2020, leading AI user research initiatives across various platforms including Security and Observability. In addition to a concurrent role as a Senior User Experience Researcher at Coro Northern California, Yi previously served as a User Experience Researcher at Facebook, effectively translating abstract requests into actionable research plans and designing comprehensive mixed-methods studies. An accomplished researcher, Yi earned a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science/Experimental Psychology from Stony Brook University, where notable achievements include awards for teaching and research excellence, along with leadership in projects on natural speech processing and linguistic adaptation.
