Carolina Santamaria

Carolina Santamaria has a range of experience in various roles and organizations. Carolina is currently working as a Recruitment Director at Corporate Accountability, where they play a critical role in building a staff for powerful campaigns against the abuses of transnational corporations. In this position, they identify and recruits talented candidates and implements a Behavioral Structured Interview process. Prior to this, Carolina worked as a Senior Recruitment Organizer and Development Organizer at Corporate Accountability, where they led the recruitment program and coordinated the Major's Giving program. Carolina also served as the Development Director at the Colombian American Cultural Society of Rhode Island Board of Directors, where they coordinated fundraising and managed the operating budget. Additionally, Carolina worked as a Blue Lab Associate at Liberty Square Group, assisting in voter engagement, research, fundraising, and advocacy for progressive political campaigns. Carolina also gained experience as a Congressional Intern for the Office of Congressman David Cicilline, where they answered constituent calls and assisted with administrative work. Furthermore, Carolina served as the Vice President of the Emmanuel College Latino Organization.
