Daron Hagen

Daron Hagen is an accomplished composer, author, and filmmaker with extensive experience in music education and composition. Serving as the Co-Chair of Composition at Wintergreen Music since September 2014, Daron provides lessons and masterclasses to young composers, coordinates faculty activities, and performs as a collaborative pianist. As a Lifetime Member of the Corporation Of Yaddo and an Artist Faculty member at Roosevelt University until August 2023, Daron has contributed to composition lessons and multi-media projects. Daron's earlier roles include Musical Studies Faculty at The Curtis Institute of Music and Associate Professor of Music at Bard College. Daron holds a Bachelor's degree in Composition from the Curtis Institute of Music and a Master's degree in Composition from The Juilliard School, with additional undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
