Jeffrey Coopersmith

Jeffrey Coopersmith is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in white collar criminal and civil defense. Currently a partner at Corr Cronin LLP since June 2023, Jeffrey previously held the same position at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from October 2019 to June 2023, and at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP from May 2012 to September 2019, focusing on government controversies and investigations. Prior to these roles, Jeffrey was a partner at DLA Piper US LLP, specializing in white collar defense and internal investigations, and served as an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney's Office, where responsibilities included white collar prosecution and coordination of corporate and securities fraud cases. Jeffrey began the legal career as an associate at Covington & Burling and completed a judicial clerkship at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law.
