Sarah Smid has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), which they obtained from Michigan State University in 2017. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, which they earned from Michigan State University in 1999. In addition to their degrees, Sarah has completed various certifications, including Certified Clinical Research Coordinator in 2003 and NIH Clinical Research Training Course in 2010. Sarah is currently working towards obtaining an Essential Skills Certificate from the American Medical Writers Association. Sarah has also completed certifications related to stroke assessment, handling and shipping infectious substances.
