Joseph Werner

Joseph, or Joey, has spent his career at the intersection of buildings and energy. From utility consulting to selling in-house solutions for commercial energy efficiency, he has vast experience working in the built environment to help optimize performance.

After the Summer of 2020, Joey wanted to take his background at that intersection further by incorporating social justice into his work. After two years of providing electrification services for residential LMI buildings at BlocPower, Joey returned to the commercial building space to manage client relationships and further drive efficiency at Cortex.

Having studied at the University of Michigan, Joey spends Saturdays in the fall cheering on the Maize and Blue from his home in Los Angeles. He is also a big fan of the professional sports teams out of his home state of Wisconsin, and is a proud owner of the Green Bay Packers.
