Kate McWhinnie

Kate McWhinnie is currently the Director of Valuation at Cortland, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Kate worked at EY from September 2016 to June 2023 as a Transaction Real Estate Manager, where responsibilities included managing reviews of real property valuations for financial reporting in support of audit clients across various sectors such as retail, manufacturing, and healthcare. Kate gained initial experience as a Commercial Real Estate Intern at USAA Real Estate Company and earlier at Ryan, focusing on loan origination, market analysis, and property tax assessments. Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, and Legal Studies from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, completed in 2016.
