Tracey Williams

Tracey Williams is an experienced professional in the healthcare sector with a focus on perioperative practice, education, and medico-legal advice. Since July 2014, Tracey has operated an independent practice while also serving as a partner on the fitness to practice panel for the Health and Social Care Professionals Council. Tracey has held esteemed positions, including President and Vice President of The Association for Perioperative Practice, and has been a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2006. Tracey’s academic career includes serving as a senior lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire, where responsibilities included course leadership and mentorship in operating department practice and nursing. Tracey has also held a significant honorary contract with the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, focusing on clinical practice in scrub anaesthetics and recovery. Tracey’s educational qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing, and various additional certifications in nursing and education from prominent institutions.
