Spencer Charters

Spencer Charters has a robust and diverse work experience in the media industry. Starting in 2008, Charters worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Canwest. From 2010 to 2011, Charters took on the role of Manager of Business Planning & Strategy at Shaw Media. In 2012 and 2013, Charters was promoted to Senior Manager of Strategic Planning at Shaw Media. In 2014 and 2015, Charters became the Director of Business Development at Shaw Media. Charters then transitioned to Corus Entertainment, where they held the position of Director of Strategy and Business Development in 2016, followed by the role of VP of Digital, Data, and Advanced Advertising from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Charters holds the position of VP of Strategy and Product Development at Corus Entertainment, overseeing strategic planning, new product development, and managing the streaming and advertising portfolios generating over $300M of revenue.

Spencer Charters attended Western University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies degree in Finance.
