Shawn Imitates Dog

Shawn Imitates Dog has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources. In 1997, they began their career at HOB Entertainment (House of Blues) as the Director of Human Resources. In this role, they provided HR oversight of a multi-state operation, developed and implemented a diversity program, and worked with the Vice President of Human Resources to design and implement a companywide compensation program. Shawn then moved to AEG in 2007 as the Senior Director of Human Resources, where they provided HR oversight and strategy for all domestic entities and assisted internationally. Shawn then moved to Equinox Fitness in 2011 as the West Coast Regional Human Resources, where they provided HR oversight for 15 locations in Northern and Southern California. In 2012, they moved to Creative Artists Agency as the Human Resources Executive, where they were responsible for employee relations, training and development, and onboarding for 1,200 employees worldwide. In 2013, they moved to Live Nation Entertainment as the Vice President of Human Resources, where they oversaw Human Resources for House of Blues Entertainment nationwide. In 2021, they moved to Academy Museum of Motion Pictures as the Vice President of People and Culture. Currently, they are the Vice President, Head of Human Resources at Cosm.

Shawn Imitates Dog attended the University of Phoenix from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (BSM).
