Guillermo Valin

Guillermo Valin has worked in the tech industry for over a decade. Guillermo's professional experience began in 2011 when they worked as a Software Engineer at Synopsys. During their time there, they developed strong skills in software engineering and gained experience working with a range of tools and technologies. Guillermo then moved to El Mercurio in 2012, where they worked as a Business Analyst and Software Engineer. Guillermo was responsible for gathering requirements from internal clients and developing software projects to solve operational problems for the newspaper. Guillermo also coded a number of these projects. In 2014, they joined MEGA as the Coordinator of the Business Process Area, reporting to the Business Planning and Control Manager. In this role, they were responsible for gathering and formalizing requirements for the core business processes of the TV station, as well as defining internal control policies and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Guillermo also led a range of IT projects with a focus on three core systems. In 2018, they joined Cotalker as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Head of Consulting Services.

Guillermo Valin obtained an Engineer's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria between 2005 and 2010. In 2014 and 2015, they completed Advanced Studies in IT Management from Universidad Andres Bello, focusing on Information Technology. In March 2016, they were certified as a Bizagi Certified Professional Version 10 by Bizagi.
