Marcus Bolinder

Marcus Bolinder serves as the Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Coterra Energy, providing counsel on public company governance, compliance, and legal matters. Prior to Coterra, Marcus was a Partner at Mayer Brown, representing various entities in capital transactions and complex commercial matters. Experience also includes roles as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Employers Holdings, and Associate General Counsel at Carrizo Oil & Gas, where responsibilities spanned corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Earlier roles involved financial analysis and support for the U.S. government at MCR Federal and Tecolote Research. Marcus holds a JD from BYU Law School, an MS in Environmental Engineering, and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.
