Davis Hake

Davis Hake currently serves as the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Services at Venable LLP, focusing on helping clients enhance their customer value through strategic tech policy advocacy and risk management. Hake co-founded Resilience, providing advisory services in marketing, security sales, and business development, and has held the position of Adjunct Professor on Cyber Risk Management at the University of California, Berkeley, where over 150 cybersecurity leaders have been trained. Additional roles include Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations, Director of Cybersecurity Strategy at Palo Alto Networks, and several key positions within the U.S. government, including Director for Federal IT Security at the National Security Council and Chief-of-Staff at the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity division. Hake holds a BA in International Relations and Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Arts in Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense University.
