David Ortego

David Ortego has extensive work experience in the field of maintenance and engineering. David started their career in 1988 at AFG Glass, where they worked as a Maint Tech until 1995. David later joined Coca-Cola Enterprises in 1992 as a Maintenance Manager and Plant Engineer, where they worked until 1997. After that, they joined Great Lakes Cheese Company, Inc as a Maintenance Manager and Plant Engineer, a position they held until 2009. In 2009, they joined Country Pure Foods as the Director of Corporate Engineering and Environmental Compliance, and later became the Senior Director of Safety and Environmental Compliance in 2022.

David Ortego attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2004 to 2008, focusing on engineering. Prior to that, in 2000, they briefly studied business at Baldwin Wallace University. Their earliest education experience was from 1990 to 1992 at Kansas City Community College, where they specialized in mechanical and electrical fields of study.
