Senior Paid Media Manager (Amazon DSP) Modifly is seeking a full-time Senior Paid Media Manager with a passion for performance marketing and digital marketing strategy. In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies across select clients, working to optimize paid search, programmatic channels, and retail media platforms while building and maintaining strong client relationships. You’ll also collaborate closely with the in-house creative team to shape client ads and provide leadership to junior paid media team members.

The ideal candidate is creatively-minded and performance-driven, thrives in independent decision-making, and excels at collaboration. This role demands flexibility, the ability to pivot quickly based on client needs, and strong communication skills to ensure alignment between internal teams and clients.

You’ll have a background in Google Search, Google Shopping, Facebook, LinkedIn advertising, and e-commerce/DTC marketing. A solid understanding of media buying, creative strategy, data analysis, and performance trends is essential. Experience with Amazon DSP, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and other retail media platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of media strategies across Paid Search, Programmatic, Paid Social, and retail media channels, including Amazon DSP, media mix planning, audience segmentation, creative strategy, and budget allocation.
  • Drive client planning discussions to define KPIs, business objectives, and strategic roadmaps, providing ongoing performance insights.
  • Gain a deep understanding of each client’s business and competitive landscape.
  • Manage and execute paid advertising campaigns across channels, including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Amazon DSP, focusing on creation, optimization, testing, and pacing to maximize ROI.
  • Analyze performance data and make data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance and client results.
  • Develop and optimize client benchmarks and forecasts to meet KPIs as quickly as possible across owned channels.
  • Improve upon paid search and social media processes, introducing new strategies and techniques for innovation.
  • Manage client budgets and make recommendations on adjustments based on performance, ensuring strong returns on ad spend across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop ad content that resonates with target audiences and achieves performance goals.
  • Mentor and lead junior media team members, providing training, coaching, and delegating tasks for their development.
  • Lead higher-level client communications and strategy development, including account launch plans, long-term management, and scaling strategies for growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and platform changes, continuously learning and adopting new strategies to keep Modifly at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
  • Generate business development opportunities by identifying service expansion possibilities and conducting strategic audits for clients.
  • Navigate attribution platforms, including GA-4 and Triplewhale, to accurately assess campaign performance.
  • Contribute to ongoing learning opportunities, participating in workshops to further develop data analysis techniques, ad platform knowledge, and emerging marketing trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in media buying, with proven expertise in Google, Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, and Amazon DSP platforms.
  • Experience managing cross-channel client engagements with minimal oversight, including e-commerce, B2B, and DTC marketing.
  • Ability to craft and execute integrated media strategies, analyze performance data, and troubleshoot dips in campaign performance.
  • Familiarity with Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and other retail media platforms is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead client discussions and stay accountable for campaign outcomes.
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Experience with budget management across campaigns and channels, making strategic adjustments to maximize returns.
  • Understanding of the marketing funnel and how each channel plays a role in driving business results.
  • Comfort working in a startup environment, with the flexibility to adapt quickly and make independent decisions.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to operate independently with little supervision, maintaining accountability for team and client success.
