Alex Porter LLB is currently a Judicial Assistant at the Courts Service, a position held since September 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy and Vice President for Welfare & Equality at the Institute of Technology Carlow Students Union from July 2020 to July 2021, where responsibilities involved acting as a student representative, managing welfare campaigns, and collaborating on student concerns. Alex also interned with the Courts Service on the Chief Justice's Summer Internship Programme in June 2020 and has worked in customer service roles at Sports Direct and as a Junior Creative at Folkster. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from the Institute of Technology Carlow, completed in 2020.
