Sam Test Cauthen

Sam Test Cauthen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In December 2020, they joined Covariant as the Head of People. Prior to that, they worked at Poll Everywhere for over seven years, starting in March 2013, serving as the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they oversaw human resources, operations, insights and analytics, and company strategy. Before joining Poll Everywhere, Sam spent several years at McKinsey & Company. From September 2011 to March 2013, they were a Fellow with the McKinsey Global Institute, leading teams in researching and sharing insights on US economic productivity. Additionally, from September 2008 to March 2013, they worked as an Engagement Manager, advising financial institutions and public sector clients on various strategic and operational matters. Sam also worked as an Associate at McKinsey from August 2006 to August 2008. In 2007 and 2008, Sam was seconded to the World Economic Forum as a Project Manager, overseeing the production of the 2008 Financial Development Report. Sam Test designed and ran stakeholder sessions for the project at the 2008 Annual Meeting in Davos. Sam's earlier experience includes working as the Director of Administration and Client Services at Sterling Johnston Capital Management from June 2000 to June 2004.

Sam Test Cauthen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economies of Industrialized Societies from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, they have pursued a Masters degree in Latin American Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
