Dominic W.

Dominic W. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dominic started their career in 1999 as a Frontline Telephony Sales and Service Adviser at Barclays UK. Dominic then moved on to various roles within the organization, including Demand Planning Manager, Project Manager, Direct Channels Strategy Manager, and Senior Project Manager.

In 2007, Dominic took on the position of Programme Manager at Barclays UK, where they were responsible for delivering transformational projects and large-scale programme work streams. One of their significant achievements during this time was leading the Standard Life Integration Programme, which involved migrating 250,000 Savings Customers from Standard Life Bank to Barclays.

In 2012, Dominic became a Senior Programme Manager at Barclays UK, focusing on the delivery of large-scale strategic transformation programmes. Dominic successfully led the ING Direct Savings Integration Programme, which involved the migration and integration of 700,000 Personal and Business Savings customers.

In 2016, Dominic joined Coventry Building Society as a Portfolio & Programme Manager. In this role, they were accountable for a multi-million pound Corporate Portfolio of programmes and projects. Dominic also led the award-winning 'Channel Transformation Programme,' which involved refurbishing branches and deploying new technologies and operational processes to enhance the Member and colleague experience.

Dominic's most recent position at Coventry Building Society is Head of Portfolio, a role they took on in June 2023.

Dominic W. holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Geography from Kingston University, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed high school at King Henry VIII School in Coventry between 1990 and 1995. In terms of additional certifications, Dominic has obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Lean Portfolio Manager and Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022. Dominic also holds the Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2018. Additionally, Dominic has the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, acquired in 2013. In 2005, they obtained both the Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner certifications from the Association for Project Management.
