Mark McKenzie

Mark McKenzie has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to software architecture and development. Mark currently holds the position of Lead Solutions Architect at Coventry Building Society. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Solutions Architect and Solutions Architect at the same company.

Before joining Coventry Building Society, Mark worked at Flooid as a Solutions Architect and later as an Interim Team Lead. Mark also has a significant tenure at PCMS Group where they held roles such as Software Architect, Senior Java Developer/Technical Lead, Java Developer, Data Architect, and Oracle Developer.

Mark's professional journey began at Tipton & Coseley Building Society where they worked as an Oracle Support/Developer. Mark also gained experience as a Sales Advisor at Comet earlier in their career.

Mark McKenzie holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Wolverhampton, which they obtained from 1999 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Wulfrun College from 1996 to 1998, where they studied Computer Science. Mark completed their secondary education at Willenhall Comprehensive from 1991 to 1996, where they earned their GCSE. In addition to their formal education, Mark McKenzie has also obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Architect from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2021.
