Julien Hauss

Julien Hauss is the current Head of Sales & Marketing at CoverGo. Prior to this, Julien was the Business Development Manager - Meetings & Events at Club Med from September 2015 to September 2020. In this role, Julien was in charge of developing Club Med's B2B business, finding & encouraging large companies & groups from Hong Kong to host their offsite meetings, events or incentive trips in any Club Med resorts worldwide, selling tailor-made packages through both direct and indirect channels.

Some of Julien's key responsibilities included setting up & managing the Meetings & Events (MICE) sales team in Hong Kong, designing, implementing & leading MICE business development, sales, marketing & promotion strategies for HK & Mainland China (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen), training sales, operations & BD team members across Greater China (13 people), and reporting to the Asia CEO. Julien was also responsible for implementing & leading the usage of new CRM and sales tools: Sales Navigator, Salesforce.

During their time at Club Med, Julien made a number of achievements including increasing total B2B sales volume by +150%, increasing total B2B leads and opportunities value by +280%, breaking the record for the highest single sale in Hong Kong (HKD 3.2M), being part of the Key GO program for company's top performers worldwide 5 years in a row, being the top Salesforce and Sales Navigator user across Asia Pacific offices, and developing marketing & sales optimization strategies in HK that are now being rolled-out across APAC.

Julien Hauss studied business administration and marketing at HEC Montréal, where they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.).

They work with Kiran Motwani - Head of Talent Acquisition, Andrey Leskov - Chief Technology Officer, and John Valustik - VP, Product. Their manager is Tomas Holub, CEO & Founder.
